This modern home makes a bold statement in the streetscape with its interpretation of a red brick façade. The primary side entry boasts a timber breezeway crafted from Victorian Ash, ushering in warm northern light to the side elevation.

Environmental Sustainability

Despite the west-facing orientation, the home’s design cleverly maximises light penetration, countering the challenges of the orientation. It incorporates passive design elements, including cross ventilation, screening, and large eaves, to offset the dark façade. Our design and construction teams employ 3D BIM software, Revit, to digitally model each home and ensure optimal shading for each site. The use of heavy Earthwool insulation in the internal and external walls, mid-floor, and ceiling improves thermal performance, sound absorption, and reduces energy costs. All exposed timber on the façade was sustainably sourced from a certified Australian manufacturer, reflecting the commitment to environmental sustainability.

As you enter the home, the foyer beckons with its blend of architectural detailing and personal touch. A piano graces the space, offering a subtle hint of the home’s innate charm and elegance.

A central feature of the home is the kitchen, which boasts a Wilsonart Traceless design. Its large island bench offers plenty of space for meal prep and casual dining, making it a hub of family activity.

The master bedroom is a sanctuary of relaxation, complete with a stylish ensuite bathroom. Unique features such as the corner window enhance the bedroom’s appeal, while the Astra Walker bronze tapware throughout lends an added touch of luxury.

The main bathroom maintains the home’s overall aesthetic with a seamless blend of modern design elements and high-quality finishes, including Astra Walker bronze tapware.

The exterior of the home features integrated timber privacy screens. These provide a sense of privacy while contributing strong vertical lines to the façade, further enhancing the home’s modern aesthetic.

The alfresco dining area provides the perfect space for outdoor entertainment or quiet family meals, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces.
